Cannot view downloaded shows on my ipad

I downloaded several movies to watch on my iPad while on vacation but cannot.  Error message says that “looks like your receiver is in use or you are already streaming on another device. “. I am not doing either.  Please help. Thanks

What app are you currently using with the downloads and is your iPad and DIRECTV app updated to the newest version? If so, perhaps you didn’t download the program correctly.

I am using the Directv app. I actually installed the most recent one from the App store

AFAIK there is no DTV on the go app anymore they combined it with the streaming app so if you have that app you can still use it until you can't.

DIRECTV on the Go App is still available in the Apple App Store.

I downloaded shows mainly from Lifetime and Hallmark.  In NY the channels I used were 252 and 312

@Noah_N don’t download the most ‘recent’ app called just ‘DIRECTV’ because this app has plenty of bugs that DIRECTV needs to address in the next coming weeks. In all, the app was launched to conveniently allow the login of both satellite and DIRECTV STREAM customers in one app. Hence, there is no need for multiple apps.

As @litzdog911 previously eluded to, you must use the older ‘DIRECTV on the Go’ app until the bugs in the new app are fixed.

Litzdog911, I am using Directv on the go for the iPad. No luck :(

the strange thing is that a month ago when I was out of the US, I could view my shows that I had downloaded to my iPad.  This time there are issues.  It is sooo frustrating
