can't get HR22 to recognize media share.

I have an AMD Athlon 64 processor running Windows XP sp2. I have downloaded wmp11, It shows allow media share to: Directv mediashare icon has a green check mark next to it. After I did a reset of my DVR and still media share does not show up on the unit. Even reset up network on DVR, although have been able to download on demand, etc for a long time. DVR indicates it is properly set up for the internet and networking. Don't know what to do next.
