Can’t log in to provider on ESPN app with Fire Stick

Are you using the correct user ID to sign in to your ESPN app?

• Learn how to find you Directv ID for signing into your app. 
• Sometimes the apps can get out of sync causing them to "think" you don't subscribe to a channel when you really do.
• Try Resetting your Account Password on att.com. The reset process will also serve to re-sync the account.

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the ESPN app?

• Launch the ESPN app and log in using your ESPN.com credentials.
• The first time you try to stream any content you will be prompted to log in with the username and password your TV provider issued. As long as you subscribe to a TV package that includes ESPN.

Is ESPN app the only one you are not able to login to or are you having issues with other Apps that your DIRECTV service gets?

Also, remember that the ESPN+ is different than WatchESPN. You will only have access to WatchESPN with your subscription.

This is an issue.  Trying to set up a new FireTV and multiple attempts to activate my DTV subscription on ESPN do not work.  You keep being redirected back to the sign in screen  I know the difference between my two logins.  I am not having this issue on the multiple other apps I am currently installing.  The problem is, ATT keeps requesting you to reset your password, which then throws all other devices "out of sync".  ESPN could also fix this by having a link or QR code activation rather than the clunky email login...so it is basically a combination of ESPN having a clunky UX sor cable authentication,  and ATT being the usual burning trash heap of a company and suggesting customers resolve their own problems with workaround rather than fixing the issue with their "out of sync" login verification system.
