Change Spanish channel to english on a spanish language channel

NBC is not on DIRECTV right now.  Channel 410 is NBC Universo.  The Browns game will be on 410 on Sunday PM.  Futbol Americano.     It was moved off of NFL Sunday ticket.  Is there a way to get the audio in English - a sap for that station?  I turned the station on on did the language - it was already English.   My high school spanish was not detailed in football terms

We'll do our best to make sure you can understand what's happening in the game, @bkarberg!

Let's make sure you followed the steps to change the language correctly. When you attempted to change the language on NBC Universo, are these the actions you took?

  1. Press MENU on your remote.
  2. Choose your receiver type. If you have:
    • An HD receiver or HD DVR: Select Settings, then Audio.
    • A standard receiver or DVR: Select Parental, then Fav's & setup, then System setup, and finally Audio.
  3. Select Language, then choose the language you want.
  4. Press EXIT.

If you followed the steps correctly, you should hear the game in English. Pull up the channel and let us know if the audio is in the correct language.

We'll be awaiting your response!

I did try that and it was already ENGLISH on 410.  I flipped it to Spanish - still Spanish and flipped it back to English - still Spanish.  The point is moot now since NBC is now back on DirecTV as of this AM.   I also went outside of DirecTV to Live TV and got a non-TEGNA NBC station out of Scottsbluff, NE through Cheyenne, WY with an antenna that desperately tried to go over the mountain range.  It was snowy - but also might have worked.

This option (I mean changing the language) is actually quite useful for those who are learning the language.
