Channel 198/Holiday Countdown

• What happens when you try to go to this channel, do you get a message or is the screen just black?
  
  
• Have you had any changes in equipment (or TVs, etc.) that may have caused this to happen?

It sounds like you may need to resend your channel information and authorizations, which you can do by following these steps:

• Refresh Your Equipment and wait 5 minutes.
  
  
• If after 5 minutes, you're still unable to access this channel, try Restarting your Receiver.

I just refreshed my receiver waited a while and that didn't work. Then I unplugged my receiver for a few minutes plug it back in again and still cannot get channel 198 holiday countdown. Do you have any other suggestions?

When I go to that channel I have the words DirecTV and the blue sphere logo with a black background

I put it on my HDMI3 which is connection to ALL my local channels and Hamark,Usa & so  forth.  Now all that I can watch, besides my HBOmax,hulu,& so on...is the Holiday Santa Countdown!! I don't know how to get it off...HELP!!! ANY ONE??

Please try resetting your DIRECTV receiver and let us know if you're able to view your normal programming afterwards.

Do you have the genie ? If not that is probably the awnser but you also have to be connected to an internet connection, this problem is interesting…
