I hope you get the channel up and working on 677 DirectTV Streaming by 3/27. Otherwise you are about to loose a long-time customer.

Your threatening to cancel doesn't turn on the channel any sooner. They acquired it but takes some work for the distribution itself to be setup. Be happy they got the channel in the first place. If you cannot tolerate that launch day is not as soon as you want, then perhaps you should cancel as no channel works on your time demands.

In any case this is just a public forum. If you want to cancel then call them. Still will not affect when the channel launches.

No, but it will matter about the $$$ I am giving to them. Seeing as how cable tv is a dying industry now, they should be concerned.

I wouldn't call it "dying" as whether cable or satellite they are still needed. Until there is a good reliable baseline internet to everyone, traditional TV options will still be around. If nationwide internet actually becomes what some believe it is today, then big changes could be expected. Though all those streaming providers are increasing costs, or piecemealing it so much that they are catching up in those costs so may be a moot point in the end.

What you're giving them doesn't matter in this situation. They got the channel. You waiving around your bills doesn't mean they and the channel owner get it setup any faster. Best to have a realistic perspective that your little account doesn't sway two big companies.

They got the deal. All we can do is wait for them to get everything setup.

It's cute that people think DirecTV Stream is cable.

So where will the person go? Hulu? YTTV?

Or sat TV is cable also.

Why am I not able to watch 677. According to everything I’ve read we should be able to. We have choice package and shows on my channel guide, even shows that’s it’s recording but doesn’t. We have talked to several different people at directv and get the run around.

Again, this may be a duplicate post. I, too was lied to. I changed my package a couple of months ago to include Sports MVP (all included) and SPORTS PACK. I was assured I would receive the Ranger networks.  All LIES!!! They now say I must increase my package at an increased monthly cost of almost $100. The conversion was recorded but now they say they can’t view ALL of it. How convenient. No ethic, no morals…just a bunch of lies and deception…but what else would you expect⁉️

We're sorry for any misunderstanding. The Rangers Sports Network is not included with Sports MVP or the DIRECTV Sports Pack. You need CHOICE or higher and live within the local market to access this channel. Kesiah, DIRECTV Community Team

We have Choice package and still cannot watch it! 

Calls are monitored randomly for quality and training purposes, not for record keeping. So there is not a guarantee that call was captured or still available if it was.

Sports Pack is a cheaper way to get your in-market RSNs than raising to Choice if you are in a lower package. It doesn't provide you out of market RSNs.
