chromebook issues
I just got the satellite dish the other day. The app works on my phone and tv, but I haven't had any luck with the Samsung Chromebook. When I go to DirecTV.com and sign into my account they ask me to install the Directv player. When I click on the blue install button, it tries to load for a few seconds and kicks me right back to the same blue install button. It's a loop. This Chromebook does meet the system requirements. Google Play only carries the directv business app. So, I don't know what to do. I called customer service, but that turned into a nightmare. If anybody has any ideas, it would be greatly appreciated.

The Google Play Store on that Chromebook should have the regular DIRECTV app. If it doesn’t, it must be either outdated or need an update (the chromebook’s software itself).
The DIRECTV site and Video Guard Player are not compatible with Chromebooks

Hi, there. Welcome to the DIRECTV family. Being able to watch the content you love anywhere is one of our customer priorities. The DIRECTV App is available on a lot of devices. At this moment, your Samsung Chromebook is not compatible. You can look for compatible devices at the following link

That link takes me to a blank page. Anyway, I replaced my 2017 Chromebook with a new model of the Samsung Chromebook that Best Buy assured me had the Directv app in google play. It doesn't work, either. Now I'm stuck with two Chromebooks that are worthless for Directv.
