Closed captioning skipping lines
In both Closed Captioning and DirecTV Captions, every other line or so goes missing.
Have read various posts in Forums re this issue, including using Restart Receiver option. Is that the current solution? Will I lose existing recorded programs?

Restarting your Receiver/DVR won't erase any recordings.
What channels have this problem? Often CC issues originate with the station/network, not DirecTV.
