I was told by an field rep that dtv was they were adding coxsportstv out of new Orleans I was asking if that was true if you guys know please give more info.thanks.
I have no idea, but when it comes to programming, channel additions, SD, HD and other such matters, the spoken word often turns out to be in error. I'd wait till I see it in an official announcement or on the TV.
cox san diego has refused to bargain in good faith with DTV and are losing the padres next year to a new fox sports/SanDiego channel according to the local newspaper. from what I understand they wanted outrageous fees per subscriber for a channel that only carries the padres and sam the cooking guy. so I would expect cox as a privately held company to utilize the same negotiating tactics in NO. and at the same time proclaim that they are bargaining in compliance with federal law.
