Direct TV App for IPad

I can't download the updated version for the IPad.   Have tried several times.   Up to this time I haven't had any problems with using the APP. Any suggestions

10.3.4 through the My ATT I was able to download a DirectTV app (didn’t say it was for I pad) and can only watch in Portrait mode and not landscape. Didn’t see anywhere in settings I could adjust to Landscape.
