DIRECT TV STREAM WITH SATELLITE ACCOUNT
Has anyone else had the following issue currently and, if so, how did it get resolved? The following is hilarious if not pathetic. I see posts going back over 2 years where Direct TV users are getting prompts on their home computers to re-install Synamedia VideoGuard Player countless times without the ability to stream their promised Direct TV service. I was one of those too! Multiple phone calls later,over several months, and countless hours calling customer support at Direct TV/AT&T while being promised that someone will follow-up. The issue is still ongoing and I am still waiting for that promised email and call to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue currently? Maybe it's time to make some changes!

Hello clduran2, it looks like too much time to complete the Synamedia VideoGuard Player installation, as you were promised, I'm here to help. I need to ask what computer are you using, is it a PC or Mac? Are you receiving an error code when trying to install the software? William, DIRECTV Community Specialist

I have the same issue. VideoGuard does install on my laptop, but I cannot stream any video through any browser. I just get prompted to install the player. I have cleared the cached, removed cookies, removed and reinstalled VideoGuard, rebooted my laptop. Nothing has worked. Please help!
