Direct TV stuck on one channel
Samsung TV, Roku remote. Every app works fine using the remote. Except Direct TV, suddenly today. Remote will turn it on but it is stuck on the last channel it was on. Remote is unable to change the channels. This is specific to the Direct TV app only; I've tried several other apps.

Try deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV App.

I have the same problem on a TCL TV with built in Roku. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app only helps temporarily and the problem come back. This is happening for me on multiple TCL TV with Roku. Been having a problem for about the last 3-5 days.

Native/embedded TV apps are often problematic. You'll have a much better streaming experience with a Roku, FireStick, Apple TV, or DirecTV Stream box.
