DirecTV app will not update the Library recordings

I have DirecTV Satellite with a Genie. I purchased a Firestick Max and loaded the DirecTV app to use on a secondary TV. I understand that you use the Genie to record and delete programs. When I record a program, that program is shown in the library of both the genie and the app, no problem. However when I delete the recorded program from the Genie, it does not delete it on the app. The library does not update on the app and still shows the deleted program. The app does not have a function to take the deleted program off of the library. The app library is collecting a lot clutter. Please advise on how to clear the library on the app.

Hi, @Edwd. We're sorry the deleted recordings still showing on your app. You can simply uninstall and reinstall the app and check for updates. This normally resolves the problem. Let us know how it goes. DIRECTV appreciates your patience. Elton, DIRECTV Community Specialist

Thank You for the quick response. I did try your recommendation to delete the DirecTV app and then reinstalling the app. However the deleted library programs from the Genie still showed up on the app library. No change. A "remove program function" in the app library would be helpful in future app updates
