DirecTV channel 800 (Music Choice Video)

DirecTV channel 800 (Music Choice Video) is not loading on one of my receivers (not the DVR).  I reset the receiver to no avail.  Any suggestions?

Hey, @slocumsg.

Thanks for reaching out! We'd be glad to help you watch your Music Choice programming.

Channel 800, Music Choice on Demand requires an internet connection. If its failing to load, it may be due to your receiver's connection to the internet. Is it connected by Ethernet or Wi-Fi? Are you getting any error messages or is it just endlessly loading?

We look forward to your response!

Try resetting the Genie also.

We are connected by wi-fi.  There are no error messages.  We have had no problem this this channel previously.  I'll try resetting the genie and let you know.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the response, @slocumsg.

Are you having problems with any other On Demand or internet features on that receiver?

If @shannon02's suggestion doesn't work, you can also try an equipment refresh. This can help with many receiver problems you may run into.

Let us know if this helps.

Resetting the genie did not help.  My other apps still work on the receiver (Pandora, I-Heart, etc.).  I can try an equipment reset but don't know what's involved.  Will that clear everything on my DVR?  Thanks

We're here to help, @slocumsg!

What we offered was an equipment refresh, not an equipment reset. Refreshing your equipment will not clear anything on your DVR, and you will not lose anything from it. It's a step that can often restore channels if your service is experiencing issues.

Let us know if a refresh helped you- we look forward to hearing from you!

Unfortunately refreshing the system and resetting the receiver did not do the trick.  Could there be a problem with the receiver itself?  It does receive the wireless signal obviously since the  other apps work.
