DIRECTV Fixes: Guide Info is Wrong/ Incorrect
Wrong Guide Info? Get the Solution
Correcting the guide is as easy as resetting the receiver. Just press and hold the red reset button for 10 seconds. You can correct things like:
- Missing guide info
- Incorrect guide info
Refresh your system
In some instances, refreshing your service syncs the guide.
- Go to myAT&T account overview and select My DIRECTV.
- Choose Manage Package then Manage receivers.
- Select Refresh receiver.
- Wait 5 minutes. Your DIRECTV service may be interrupted during the refresh process.
Other reasons for a wrong guide
We get guide information from the network. If last-minute updates are made to programming by the network, the DIRECTV Guide may be incorrect. Once an update is received by the network, we will update it.
