Directv Satellite was installed for me today. On my Tv's that are not hard wired I dont have the channels I had before Installation.

Do you receive an error? What channels are unavailable on your Apple TV and other streaming devices? Have you tried reinstalling the DIRECTV application and logging into the app again? Have you ensured that your new online directv.com account is accessible and able to be logged into (as well as showing the current programming information). 

So I installed the app and logged into the app. The channels are missing. On my web browser, the channels are missing also. They're available on my hard-wired TVs. The channels missing are all my local and ESPN channels. Before installation I was able to watch these, The only channels that are currently available are movie channels hbos Cinemax, etc.

What message do you see if you try to tune directly to one of the missing channels?  

With a new account it sometimes takes a while for the authorizations to be updated. 

The message I am receiving on the web browser is "Upgrade to watch this". When I move to guide my previous local channels are no longer there. If it does take a while for authorization to be updated that makes sense because it's been only about an hour since installation and my guide on my DVR box is not fully populated. 

Give it a day. 

Not all channels in the sat channel package can be streamed to the app.

I know not all but to only have the movie channels to be able to stream something has to be wrong right? If I get rid of the movie channels I will have zero streaming channels and that can't be right can it?

I just installed the directv app on a roku tv, from my wired satellite account. None of the music channels are showing on the app.  starting at 800 MCTV - 886 MCVI

also NewsNation is missing. 

How can I get the music to appear? Where can we see the channel lineup for the DirecTV app vs satellite? 

Those may be some of the channels that are not streamed.  Don't know if there is such a list available.
