Directv Unknown Error

I am no longer able to access the Directv app on my iPhone. When it attempts to load, I receive an “unknown error” message. I have removed and reinstalled several times without success. Many others have reported this issue, but I can’t find any resolutions. I am about to switch to Infiniti if this is not corrected. Very frustrating.
