DirecTV2PC activation window keeps showing up after activation

I have DirecTV2pc running fine on my Windows 7 computer.  I am trying to get it working on my XP machine, after running the program, it asks me to activated it, and than started downloading some content,  After it finished downloading, it went back to the activation screen, and is now in a loop.  It says activate, I click it, it says activated, than goes right back to the activation window.  Any help would be appreciated.

I have removed and re-installed it. 

Windows XP Pro 32 bit

AMD Athlon X2 245

2.9Ghz 2.75 GB of Ram

ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics (I know this may not be a supported graphics, but should not be causing this loop issue)
