DirecTV2PC and HMC HR34 PlayList

What's the cause of this issue?


DirecTV2PCsee the HMC HR34, but its PlayListcomes up empty?

 

Is it a HR34issue or a DirecTV2PCissue?

Hi Barbara from support. I'm having the same problem. DirecTV2PC works fine, but nothing shows up in my playlist. I've scheduled shows to download online, but nothing shows up when I look at my playlist.

 

Has engineering said anything yet?

 

Any further information we can provide?

Same Directv2PC problem here plus now I cannot seen my previously seen HR20. What caused that?

Been having same issues since i got mine installed in nov/dec.  works fine with standard dvrs, but no the HR34.  even shows % full most time, just no list.

 

any updates on public release of the fix?

I called DirecTV customer support and was told that at this time DirecTV2PC does not work with the HMC ( HR34 ).
Their engineers are working on the issue.

Not sure if this is the same problem or a different one.  Just had an HR34 installed with whole home and it doesn't look like the DTV2PC app is recognizing the HR34 at all.  When I click on setup (where I thought you could select the DVR), nothing at all happens.  Not even a menu pops up.  I can still see all the programming from my HR20, so for now I am recording shows I want to be able to view on DTV2PC on that box, but am wondering what I need to do to be able to have DTV2PC even recognize the HR34.

weird looks like my post complaining about this problem got deleted.  I wonder if thats because they don't allow you to talk about off topic things, I mentioned Nomad in my post, or if they just censor posts that talk about how bad a product Nomad is or complain about their products generally.  lets see if this one gets deleted.  P.S. don't buy a nomad.

From time to time the forum administrator goes through and deletes posts that are basically rants or that don't conform to the terms and conditions.  The forums are intended to provide users a place to communicate and assist each other with solving technical problems.  There is a link to the T&C's in the upper left margin of this page.

Not sure this applies. I have an ipad2 and could not get the app to work. Finally found out that the IT folks need to put out an update to include the new Home Media Center (HR 34). Apparently, there are several apps that will need this update as well. Hopefully soon!

Yes, they are at work on a update for the HR34.  The specific place for iPad posts is in the "Directv Mobile Apps" forum with the link in the left margin of this page.   The Directv2PC program is intended for computers only.

No.  It's taking longer than I anticipated.  The HR34 has a number of issues, some far more "serious" than the Directv2PC problem, and I'd bet they won't release a fix piecemeal.

Not sure what happened but I am getting full functionality from Directv2Pc and my hr34.
