Directv2PC on a Mac

I nearly got this to work on my Mac by using VMware Fusion.  I just installed Windows XP Professional and then loaded the Directv2PC software and voila!  I accessed my DVR's instantly and then when I went to play one of my recorded programs I got the dreaded message:

"Direct TV2PC cannot display this video because your graphics card does not currently support screen capture protection for protected content."

VMware Fusion uses some sort of generic driver to bridge the gap between what my computer actually uses (NVIDIA GeForce 8600 M GT) and what it needs to operate within a Window environment.  I tried to update my driver, but I was unsuccessful.  Too bad, I thought I had a solution for the scores of Mac users out there.  Any idea if they are EVER going to make a version of the software for Mac?
