DVR recordings don't play

Shows I have recorded are off time and play half or  won't play at all. On some when you hit olay the delete box pops up and you can't way anything at all. It's different shows different days different times so it's not a matter of other shows running late or whatever people are saying. One show I watched live and it started right on time but the recording was an hour behind
