Epix Incomplete On-Demand

Epix determines what shows are available, not DirecTV. You'll need to contact Epix.

I'm sure you can find Epix contact information using Google or via the Epix web site.

I wrote Epix and they pointed the finger back at DTV.  One more example where the customer is in the middle of two large corporate entities.  So WHO is responsible and WHO will get up and fix it????!!!!

Here is the email Epix sent me back, cut & pasted with zero changes:

"We're sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with EPIX on VOD. Unfortunately, we can only provide assistance with EPIX.com and the EPIX apps. However, if you provide us with your ZIP code, we will let your provider know that there is an issue with what's being offered on their VOD service.

"If you're having trouble with your television provider's VOD service, we recommend that you contact your television provider's customer support for assistance.

"Most EPIX programming is available to watch on EPIX.com and the EPIX apps, even if it's not available on your provider's VOD service.

"We apologize for any inconvenience."

Yes, I could send them my zip code and probably will, but that sounds like a means to a no good end given your reply of - It's the other guy's fault. Once again the customer is treated like a ping pong ball.  

So are those shows available via the Epix App or Epix web site?  You should be able to log into both of those sites using your DirecTV account credentials. If they're not on the Epix App or web site, then they certainly won't be available via Epix OnDemand on DirecTV.

Okay, so there is no ambiguity, here is what has been skipped on DTV VOD for Deep State and Berlin Station.

Deep State VOD is missing – All of season 1 and Season 2 Episodes 1, 3, 5, 9, and 10. (A lot is skipped including the Season Finale.)

Berlin Station VOD is missing – Season 1 Episode 3 and Season 2 Episode 10 (Again, a season FINALE!)

Please let me know when someone/anyone fixes this oversight. These two spy shows are the primary reason I subscribed to Epix.

Thanks for your clarification.  There is no ambiguity on our part.

All of these programs have been provided to DIRECTV for their VOD service. If they are not making the programs available, they may be experiencing issues in their system. We are happy to email them and let them know that a customer is unhappy about the missing content and request that the address the issue.

Unfortunately that is the limit of what we can do, because we do not operate DIRECTV's VOD system.

All of these programs are available to watch on EPIX.com and the EPIX apps at any time.  This is our system and we are responsible for what is available on EPIX.com and the EPIX apps, so if you experience any issues on EPIX.com or one of the EPIX apps, we are more than happy to be of assistance.

We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Understandable, when you write "Epix determines what shows are available, not DirecTV." I question that claim. 

Without assigning blame for the skipped shows oversight, WHEN WILL DTV FIX IT and upload ALL of the episodes for Deep State and Berlin Station?  WHO is in charge?  We are wasting one another's time if you cannot fix this oversight.  (I know, you don't work for DTV.  All of this is altruistic.)

Nice to see that Epix actually responded. As far as I know, DirecTV just provides what the networks make available. It's not like they have their own OnDemand servers. 

Have you actually tried using the Epix App or their web site to verify for yourself that those shows are actually there?

At any rate, none of us are employees.  You'll need to call DirecTV at 1 800 531 5000. But they probably won't be able to help. Hopefully, you can find those shows on Epix App or web site. 

Yes, they are available online @ Epix.
NO, they are not on the service I pay for, DirecTV, so I can watch them on my large screen TV -- not some tiny phone or 24" monitor.
