Error 22 using Linksys Gaming adapter

I am getting and error 22 when using my Linksys gaming adapter with my HD DVR..I setup the adapter on my PC and verified it connected to the internet correctly (using a blue ray player).  Hooked up to my DVR and used the default IP addresses and received and error 13 connecting to the internet.  I thenchanges the Ip addresses to the my network specific ones and receive an error 22.   I also verified ports 80 and 8080 were configured.  Any help would be appreciated...I am a new customer and this is frustrating..
