error 721/lost a bunch of channels

This morning we suddenly no longer had available a number of channels we had previously had including for example The Weather Channel HD.  Error 721.  Followed all the self help steps and still no channels.  We are billed mid-month, so if there is a change in service wouldn't that occur on 8/15?
