Error 771 Satellite Signal Issue

How do I get a tech out to check this out?  I reported this a couple weeks ago and they said a tech would be contacting me.  So far, I haven't heard from one.

The CSR should have setup an appointment to have a tech come out, techs should only call you to tell you they are on the way or to update you.

If there are no appointment dates then a dispatcher is SUPPOSED to call the customer within 72 hours, that rarely happens all you can do is call back and maybe the appointment calendar is open now or maybe not, csrs have no control over the calendar though

We can also try to help you if you provide more details like are you getting 771 on all channels? All receivers?, is the 771 on standard definition channels?, high definition channels? Both hd and sd? Etc...

Yes exactly, OP please tell us what channels or receivers have 771? If it were only HD channels then it is an easy fix that should not delay your TV until the technician comes out as you can watch the SD version. But if it is on all channels and all receivers  then your dish is totally out of alignment or there is some sort of splitter/wire issue if the technician claims it isn’t the dish upon arrival.
