FAST FORWARD ISSUES-doesn't show the program moving
Suddenly there is no longer a preview shown of the video during fast forwarding of DVR shows. Therefore, you have no idea where you want to stop the video. The video goes forward but the screen is stuck on the image when you started the forwarding. Please let me know how to fix this. It is on a genie mini. We have several of them and this is the only one where it fails.

I have done the RED reset button twice and powered off and on and it still isn't working.
When using FF or Reverse the screen freezes while the position in the program moves forward or reverse as requested. This means that the viewer cannot see the advancing or reversing content, essentially defeating the value of the FF/Reverse feature of the DVR.

Yes, I have. And then I reset the red reset button and that did not fix it. Same problem still there.

What DVR model?
What happens if you swap the "bad" Mini with a good one? Does the problem stay with the"bad" Mini?

I did that. and some functions on each one did not work in their new location unless I took their original remote - which worked on some functions and not others. So I returned them to their original location and TA-DA!! Now they both work in their old location and with their usual remotes. Certainly weird and unexpected process, but for now, the malfunctioning one is functioning. Thank you for the suggestion.
