Fast forwarding

For about a week or so I have not been able to fast forward my recordings that I have recorded. I know I couldn’t do it in On Demand mode, but I’ve always been able to with my recording. What is the problem?

First thing to try is resetting your DVR using the red reset button near the access card.

What is your DVR model number?

 

Only some OnDemand networks restrict FF'ing their commercials. And it's not always obvious when the DVR downloads from OnDemand vs. recording from the live channel.  If the channel number on the recording is in the 1000's, then it's OnDemand.
