FIGURED OUT THE CRAZY ONDEMAND STUPID PENDING DOWNLOAD PROBLEM!!!!!!

 I have had the exact same issues for the last three days as most of you with on demand and the crazy pending download issue..benn searching all over the internet for a solution

I did it all.. resetting, unplugging modems, wireless router, wireless bridge EVERYTHING

resetting dvr over and over again...... 

I finally found this very simple post and did this...

"Well, normally technicians do it but if you are curious. Reset the receiver and when you get the blue "Hello, Your DIRECTV Receiver" screen, press "02468" on the remote and nothing else.You will get a message saying "new software found" if your receiver was not up to date"

I didnt see the new software found message but after I did it...EVERYTHING started downloading within 10 minutes and I sittting here downloading an old MAD MEN episode wihout doing anything special with downloading a concert  from  channel 1101..in essence its back to normal!! 

I really this hope this helps everyone out there!! I understand the frustration....i have NO patience!!!
