Fox network is glitching and blacking out every few minutes. All my other channels are fine but 34 KLSR is giving me grief
This has been going on for quite awhile. I don't watch that channel very often so I tend to forget about it. Very annoying when trying to watch my team and they keep cutting out.

In most cases it is a problem with their feed to DTV so you should contact 34KLSR maybe DTVhelp will DM/PM you.

I have the same issue with Fox 9 in Minneapolis, very annoying. All the other local channels are fine. I thought about tweaking the dish but fear I would do more harm than good since everything else is going fine with ALL channels.

You can't tweak the dish for a specific transponder, so long as your 99/103 S transponders are in the 80s the dish is good.

I have some transponders in the 70's on 103 S, could that be my problem? If so, it's only been a problem the past couple of weeks, and now all leaves are gone, so I would think the signal would be better than when I was having no problems this summer. Is there a way to upload a picture on this forum?

There is a icon that looks like a mountain with a sun that is the add image link next to the paper clip at the bottom of this box.

Frustrating, all I can see are what looks like formatting options at the bottom of where I am typing right now, no mountains or paperclips.

Watching local NBC channel now, and I do notice some more minor glitching. Would you suggest I DO try and turn the fine calibration screws on the ditch to see if these numbers go up for 103 S? I figure I can always go back to where I started if I document how many rotations and direction I go with the screws.

FWIW, I got one of those OTA antennae's from DIRECTV a few months back when NBC was blacked out locally. Just now I thought I'd try it on Fox, and nothing came in. I unplugged it from the power and plugged it back in, and it was coming in OTA. I then went back to just the normal Fox 9 through DIRECTV, and lo and behold, no glitching. May be just a coincidence, but for whatever reason, this OTA antennae plugged into the back of the DIRECTV box must have been somehow causing the glitch. Maybe this will help someone out there. Worth a try at any rate. Still no glitching 15 minutes later, this would not have happened while watching the Viking game earlier.
