Directv’s contract with Fox was settled and renewed weeks ago. Whatever dispute is causing your Fox channel to not be available, it’s not with Fox.

You are not paying specifically for Fox. It is not, nor never has, been a guaranteed channel. Channels are subject to change at any time because TV providers don't own the channels.

Since the agreement with Fox was renewed, I suspect yours is a local affiliate station probably owned by Mission. Nobody knows when they will agree as that would be predicting the future. Be patient, plug in a regular antenna to your TV to get the free broadcast, watch something else, or you can even keep an eye on the negotiation information on DirecTV's official site:

It is just a TV channel, nothing to lose your mind over.
