FURIOUS

Called the customer service number twice due to error code (Channel i was watching suddenly stopped, which happens several times every week). There was no way to just enter the error code to reset my receiver. Other times I've called I've been able to enter the error code. Easy fix. This day, no. WHY?

Waited to talk to a human... when I was connected there was insanely loud high whistling and yelling. Scared ***** me and nearly broke my eardrum. Hurt *****.   Apparently there was a party on the other end of the line.  Hung up.

Called again. Same flavor of ***** service. Person (again yelling and whooping in the background) says, yes that is a technical issue, this is billing. Well how ***** did my call go to billing? No help.

Absolute rude ***** system. 

Got online and reset my receiver. No interpretation or screaming, thank you.

What DVR/Receiver model number?

That's what I eventually did, as I said.

Error code 721. 

What I am not happy about is that the 531-5000 phone system, which appears everywhere as an option for solving various issues, not only did not allow me to solve the issue, not only wasted my time, but routed me to dead ends where there were firecrackers bursting into my eardrums. 

Hello? Unacceptable.
