Genie mini remote buttons working intermittently
Issue experienced for more than 3 months now. After working with the backend team, an agent verbally told me it is a known issue for "some time" that the Genie Mini receives commands from the RF remote intermittently. For my issue, mainly the down direction, up direction, pause, play, rewind, fast forward buttons on the remote will send signals for 5 or so clicks then stop working. This is the case for both live programming and recorded content. There are other buttons that behave intermittently as well but I rarely use them. I have to turn the mini off and back on to restart the use of those buttons and be prudent on how I use them. When not working, the remote red light does light up when the buttons are pressed.
Troubleshooting completed:
1) Support swapped out old Genie Mini with a new Mini
2) Swapped out old remote with new remote
3) Inserted new batteries twice in new remote
4) Reset mini (red button)
5) Pulled power line out of mini for 20+ seconds
6) Support did a receiver refresh
7) Video session with technical agent who witnessed the behavior and walked me through menu clicks. Note that nothing was changed
Questions: Does anyone else have this issue as stated by the agent who said it is a known issue? Does anyone have any solutions or what the technical team needs to do to fix this?

What is the remote and mini model number?
I don't recall any posts about this after replacing both.
