Has anyone been able to use WPA security to connect Directv Wireless connection kit?
I was able to connect wireless connection kit with WEP security, but would prefer to use WPA. I keep getting error saying security key not accepted. I am positive I entered the code correctly and that it does not contain any special characters. I have reset everything multiple times. I also tried connecting the kit to my PC directly and entered the security information there. I was able to talk to the connection kit and set the security type, network name and security code. It would scan for networks and find my network, but when I tried to connect, it just went to the page where I entered the network name and security information and stopped there. My DVR is an HR21. Has anyone else been able to connect with WPA?

I'm running WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode on my Linksys router and it works just fine. The security key not accepted is often due to some punctuation in either the network name (SSID) or in the password. Make sure it's letters and numbers only and that you observe the upper and lower case rule.
It's hard to know what you've done precisely when you post "I have reset everything multiple times". What's everything and how did you reset? Did you follow one of the sequences I've posted elsewhere in the forums?
If you post back, give us the model number of the adapter. If the new model, you are connecting via Ethernet to the top port of the DVR?
