HBO Max Subscription has expired message help

I get the HBO Max Subscription has expired no matter what platform I am trying to watch from (PC, Roku, phone app) when it should be included in my DirecTV package. How do I fix this?

How did you subscribe to it was it through Directv?  If you subscribed through Directv I would check your account and make sure that it says that you are getting HBO Max.

Check your DIRECTV subscription online, perhaps your premium channel HBO was cancelled. You can also go to any DIRECTV receiver and tune to an HBO channel to see if you still receive HBO. If you get error 721 on the receiver, call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and ask DIRECTV for the status of your HBO subscription as well as to 'renew' it if you were somehow unsubscribed from HBO.

I did check and it is part of my subscription and I am also able to watch HBO with my DirecTV receiver. I used to be able to watch HBOMax using my Roku TV with the app and on my computer by logging in with my Directv user ID and PW but now I get an error message. I am really getting aggravated by this because I prefer to watch on the other platforms and not on my TV. I may just cancel if I can't get this straightened out soon because I am basically paying for something I am unable to use at this point.

On your, Roku device try uninstalling the app and reinstalling and attempt to resign in it should act like you are just signing in again and see if you still get the same error message but make sure that you are logged out on all other devices!  If you still get the same error code then I would contract Directv Customer Service either through chat or calling 1(800)531-5000
