HDDVR takes down my network

my hr23 takes down my network and I'm not sure how it happening

In my old home I used a linksys router and cable internet we had no problems.

I'm now using a belkin. the hr23 is hard wired on a 3 foot cat5 to the router port 1 everyting else in my home is wireless.

2 wireless laptops
2 uma tmobile phones
1 wireless printer
1 wireless desktop

the cell phones stay connected to the network but are unable to connect to the internet for uma
also the computer are unable to resolve ro load a page.

the router is g/n

im using qwest dsl.

i have isolated this to the DVR with a good ol HI tech test of unplugging each device then plugging back in

the only thing that when unplugged allows the network to operate properly is the dvr

Also the dvr is not downloading when this happens. But from my testing I highly suggest a menu option to schedual downloading to a time when the custmoer( kinda like somthing i saw on utorrent) is not home or when asleep so it doesnt effect my phones and internet browsing quality.

DOD Downloading effects the quality of my phone service.. probably becuase i only have 1.5mb connectivity where im at.

This is seperate of the network problem im having as the dvr will have nothing schedualed to download. when my network goes down.

Also the HDDVR is not sharing with another dvr on the network yet either.

what gives any ideas?
