How do I get back my missing DIRECTV screen icons?

I lost my DirecTV on-screen channel guide Icons in Sept 2019.  When I called customer service, they had no idea why the Icons are gone.  An agent named 'Anna' told me there was not way to contact the engineering section that handles this to get them to bring them back.  I find this totally unprofessional.  Ever since AT&T took over, DirecTV has gone down the toilet.  I switched from Xfinity to DirecTV because Xfinity had antiquated equipment.  Not AT&*T is dropping the bad. I had surgery a few year ago and reading is very difficult for me.  The Icons were critical for me to mint channels.  We had Icons for years, it can't be difficult to bring them back.  Please contact me for a resolution. If you, I will switch back to Xfinity.

Hello @andersonr1

Try resetting your receiver to see if that icons reappear. We have a support article that will walk you through the process.

Let us know how it went.

Hi @andersonr1,

We will be happy to help.

You might try, Info>right arrow to Favorites>then select setup custom 1 or 2 to set up favorites list for your icons.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

I already have a ‘Favorites’ list. That’s not the problem. I’ve had the channel guide icons for years. They just stopped recently (in my area). There are hundreds of complains online about AT&T killing the icons. Please bring them back, or tell us how to do it ourselves. My friend has the Genie system and still has icons. I do not know why AT&T would kill them. Very bad decision. After surgery, I have a very hard time reading. The icons were necessary.

That is the first think I tried. The problem is not on my end
The problem in on AT&T end. They cut them off. I'm trying to find out how to get them to bring them back. Those with the Genie still have them. I worked Cyber Security for Air Force Space Command for 16 years....I know my way around systems.
