DirecTV receivers cannot download other TV provider apps. So, for Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu, etc. you use other equipment.
As a note if that truly is an H44 (not HR), that is the Genie Lite. In case you need further help with it in the future so that it doesn't get confused with Genie (HR34 and up) or Genie-2 (HS17, only model so far).

You can't there is no way to download apps to a DTV receiver.
