Depending on the receiver you have, there are a couple ways to set this up:
On an HD-DVR receiver: Menu > Search & Browse > Sports
On a Genie receiver: Menu > Discover > Sports
Once in the sports menu, you can search for Braves, add them to My Teams, and also set a season to record. The season record feature is designed to record your selected team on any channel you subscribe to; it will not be limited to just the MLB Extra Innings channels. This will make sure you do not miss a game, even if it’s available locally.
The channels will be prioritized like this:
Local Affiliate Network, i.e local Fox station
National Station, i.e TNT, TBS, ESPN, etc
Regional Sports Network (RSN), i.e. FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast
MLB Extra Innings
If you do want to limit the recordings to just MLB Extra Innings channels, your best option is to set them to record manually. You can search up to 14 days in advance through the guide, locate each game you would like to record, and press the record “R” button to set the recording.
