I am a bit confused about the "Direct TV way" I guess...

I posted in the Multi Room area that my Multi Room system is all but useless. I was told that is expected with the system they sold me (I call it "A Bill Of Goods") and that I need to get a Different set up to expect it to work. Odd, why offer a system that doesn't work? Ok now I come to fund that my On Demand falls under the same category in "Thats expected in the system they sold you." so now I am Stuck with a system thatcfor all intents andnpurposes doesn't work. Try and watch a On Demand program and it quits during play back, try and use my Multi Room and it stalls or just unwatchable for a few minutes than stalls. So let me get this straight before I call in the morning and quit this "Service" that I have now in my home that this wireless system is just unreliable for any kind of use and I have to Hope that it works when I want to use it? Is this correct? Not to mention that On Demand in Direct Land means "Wait For Your Item to Download" and not to watch it now like my last service meant. This whole thing reminds me of the old days of dial up and getting knocked off line if you got a phone call etc....
