I am so mad

Why did no one tell me that we had to buy an 80.00 adapter to be able to use the on-demand feature that is supposed to be so awesome?

I have one HD-DVR and one HD box. Plus, I have four extra standard receivers.

Can you on-demand on just the HD box? OR do you have to have the HD-DVR?

Also, if you CAN On-Demand on the HD box do you NEED to have two of these 80.00 adapters?

Also...what if i dont want to record any of the shows i watch. I just want to stream them or whatever? Like what I have always done with Time Warner...just hit the button and it shows up on my TV.

Is there way to hook this up without the 80.00 adapter? I have DSL...i already have a USB wireless adapter but we cant seem to make it work. Are there any other options?

I have only had this since Wed...and i can tell you I am not very happy with the switch.
