I can no longer see recorded programs that I saved

I used to depress the menu button and see what programs were recorded

Now all I see is the name of the program but when I want to watch it, it says that program can no longer be viewed as someone on my network has deleted it

I am the only person using the remote control and do not understand what has happened
Can you please help
