I have sidebars all of a sudden with my hd TV even the guide is with a side bar . 22 receiver
I can not change my format on my TV no more, meaning letterbox to crop to stretch. The picture size is the same(side bars) no matter what the setting is on. The guide I pull up to see what is on is the same way ,it has side bars . Go to hd and no side bars on or when I turn on the guide they are gone,by the way hd is great (customer for 6 yrs) love it!!!!!!! but this just started to happen and I noticed it on my starz std channels first (encore channels because I do not get them in hd.) Any explanation is this matter would be helpfull ......And no its not with any setting on the TV because I'm using the format button for the direct TV hd receiver to switch it back and forth like it has been for the last 6 years I have had HD TV and I tried both sizes 16x9 and 4x3 with resetting both the TV and receiver no change , thanks for your time and I luv the sun
