I purchased the movie Time After Time on Direct TV. I started watching it but the Director is talking. How do I stop the commentary?

The Director starts talking the second the film starts and he just keeps talking. You cannot hear the dialog of the actors for the Director's rambling on! It says no where in the film description that the Director is going to babble on the whole film. I tried going to the CC/ section on the TV screen when you hit info but it only offers Talking Guide on and off & Closed Captioning neither of which shut up the Director! I want to watch the movie I paid for without constant commentary from the Director!!!
