If you never received a bill

If you never received a bill how can you get your account number. Plus if my remote quite working the tv

Are you a new customer, and is this why you never received your bill? Even so, you can login to your online account at DIRECTV.com, go under My Profile once logged in, and your account number should show up. 

As far as your remote, are you having issues? If so, elaborate and also include the DIRECTV receiver model and remote model (remote model starts with RC and is on the top left).
