Image quality

I’m noticing a distinct difference in image quality on the satellite image. Has directv cut back on the resolution or bit rate. When I switch from over the air to satellite the difference is astounding. November 2022

Check your display settings. Menu then settings then display then TV Resolutions only 1080 i, 1080p should be checked off with 4K if you have the 4K set up

No, they haven't cut back. But the OTA signal will just about always be better than any other source.

Yep. That is what it was. Somehow, (probably a power outage) the settings were switched to 480. Eye thank you very much.

How do I get rid of the live streaming? I now have double listings on my channel guide, and the picture resolution isn't as near as good as it used to be. I did reset my resolution to 1080, it didn't work. Also some of our recorded shows on the streaming channels had glitches. Can I even stop streaming to only use in bad weather? Thank you for your time.

@Tracyann65 reset your box. Then go into setting and hide sd duplicates.
