DIRECTV service requires a receiver, whether it be a Genie, HD DVR, standalone HD receiver, or Genie client (or SD/SDDVRs that need to be replaced).
Does your first TV work fine? What is the receiver model? What about the second TV, what is the receiver model, exact LG TV model, how is the receiver connected to the LG TV, etc?
