Local Channels are not available
This started this morning. How many months will we have to go with streaming (which means the DVR is useless for recording)?
I pay for CBS and Fox and for months I didn't get them. As a loyal Direct TV customer for decades I go comped on NFL Sunday Ticket for a couple of years - NOPE Direct TV lost that. I pay to record programs that I can't watch when I am away. Not today!
For all this, they raised my rates this year.
I got some good deals on streams from other vendors. All I need are my local channels. TV antenna here I come!

It is a nationwide outage, so no one is able to get a signal on the 99 west satellite. According to directv, there was an alignment issue or something like this so it is on their end to fix the issue. Until then, you have to stream the channels you cannot watch on your receiver. Also, if you have a Genie, use the SignalSaver feature to receive the channels you cannot get over your WiFi connection.
Being we are customers like you, we have no clue on the expected resolution date. Hopefully, it is fixed soon.
