Local commercials are cutting out programming of SNL
While watching SNL on December 21st, we found that the beggining of each skit or musical performance after a local commercial starting after it was started. So we missed the begging of those. How can the local commeccials cut ourt part of the program I am watching?

Local commercials are sent to your receiver and recorded on the hard drive and are triggered to play, so either SNL wasn't following the commercial timing or the commercials where not triggered on time.

Contact your local channel. They are the ones that control when they are showing a local commercial. If they weren’t switching back to the network feed in time, that’s their doing, not Directv.
