Mac's Catalina IOS and problems streaming with Cisco player
I just bought a new MacBook Pro with macOS Catalina, and I am unable to watch direct live online. I download the directvplayer, refresh the browser and the request of download keeps appearing. I have tried deleting the Cisco folder from my library and resintalling it again, but I get the same problem. Any suggestions?

The link you provide points to issues from 2017. The problem now (2019) is from Apple's Catalina OS (10.15). Apparently, Apple has eliminated XML support with their new approach to iTunes. I believe this is your problem with DirecTV.

PS - I have ben without DirecTV streaming's for 2 weeks now and it seems their tech support doesn't even know they have a problem.

I spoke with support and they stated this is due to Catalina no longer supporting 32-bit apps, which is what they have stated the Cisco Video Player is currently at. So the net is that we should accept this as not working until such time as Apple addresses 32-bit apps, which they will not do.
