Mediaset Italia Channel Guide is Off
Hey Folks,
I'm trying to contact other people who have the Italian package, which includes MediaSet Italia channel. The guide is not in sync with what's actually airing, so it's impossible to record selected programs. Does anyone else of this problem? I
DirecTV support seems to think it's a problem with my box, but I've done all of the resetting, etc. Plus it seems like if it were a problem with my box, the guide would be off for all of the channels, not just one out of 200. They're sending out a technician, but another person has the problem it would be good to know.

Thanks for doing that! I got a call from DirecTV and a tech came out to my residence yesterday, just to confirm that it had nothing to do with my receiver. I told him that you had the problem, too, and that really helped. They escalated the problem, too.
As of last night, the problem was resolved, and the guide was in sync. So it looks like it's fixed on my end. Please check yours and let me know.

DTV buys the guide data from a third party company so either they are not getting the correct data from the channel or they are messing it up or possibly there is a time problem.

Thanks so much. This information is really helpful and it explains a lot. I thought it might correct itself when Italy changed their clocks last weekend, but it remained out of sync.

i have the same issue, RAI channel are correct, Mediaset is off.

I now know I’m not crazy. At least when it comes to this. 😁
I have a tech coming by on Monday and this will help. If you have the time to report this that would be great too, so I’m not the lone wolf baying at the moon.

Hi Jimbrown32,
I did reported few days ago, it took me 2h with the customer service until they realize is not my receiver but is the Guide that is 2h off.
They promise me they are escalating the issue with the Technica support team and i will get a email or phone call with an update.
Let me know if they got it fixed for you?
I keep you also posted if i get any news.
